Amanda Martinez Actor Tim Robbins suffered the loss of both his parents just twelve days apart from one another. His mother, Mary, died twelve days after his father Gil. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Mary Robbins, 78, died of a heart arrhythmia. Gil, 80, passed away after a battle with prostate cancer.
