“There’s a rumbly in my tummy.” Winnie the Pooh is known to sing. And yes, we must admit that we too are sometimes tempted to sing with him. Indeed, there is a rumbly in our tummy when we think about all the food we can taste and eat. Just the thought of juicy fries, a thick milkshake or a slice (or two) of cheesecake is enough to make our mouth water. But of course, all that eating will show on our bodies, especially our tummy.

The great thing is that we don’t really need to fight our cravings. There are plenty of diet products and fat-blockers that can help us get rid of our excess fat, as well as prevent these from ever making their appearance in our body. A popular fat blocker you can consider is chitosan. It is all-natural and is very effective. Chitosan is made from the shells of crustaceans, such as lobsters, crabs and shrimps. Because it is natural, it does not result in most side effects. However, those who are allergic to crustaceans will do well to avoid taking chitosan.

What makes chitosan effective is that it is able to get rid of the fat in our body. This super fiber wraps up the fat and then excretes it as waste. The rest of our fat (that’s stored in the body) is subsequently burned.

Chitosan is also calorie-free. So while you take it, you don’t have to think about any additional calories. You can enjoy a rich and full meal without worrying about all the fat that you’re about to eat. Another good thing is that chitosan can also prevent ulcers since it has the ability to soothe and calm the stomach lining.

Other benefits from chitosan are that it helps to improve our blood pressure and cholesterol levels. You see, chitosan raises the level of good cholesterol even as it does away with the bad cholesterol. The best time to take chitosan is before meals, particularly if that meal is laden with fat.

While there are supplements like chitosan that help us lose weight, we should also do our part by eating a sensible and balanced diet. Regular exercise will also help.
